Dear Readers,
I am an Ithaca high school stuendent who is taken an English course called WISE. Wise is a cool and fun class, in the second half of the years you get to pick a project that you would like to-do or learn more about. For my project I will be dong Performing Arts and all the tasks that go into being in a play. I have never seen or been to a play in my life. The reason I picked this for my project is because I believe that life is about experiences, learning new skills, improving old skills, and finding new people to form connections and to broaden my network to reach new horizons. I have a role in my schools spring musical this year the "Pajama Game" were I play one of the leads Mayron Hestler. Mayron is the boss of the Sleep Tight factory in the late 40s, were all of his workers are demanding for a 7 and a half raise… will I give it to them? That’s all I’ll tell you about him you'll have to come see the play to find out more about this comedy in March. This is not the only thing I’ll be doing for my project. I will also learn how to dance and sing, carpentry, and study about theater. Also I’m going to try and catch a few plays locally here and there.
